The motor vehicle expert office was founded in 2001 by Mr. Torsten Triesch in Mühlhausen. After relocating the company to the municipality of Rodeberg and founding the branch in Göttingen, we will now, from the end of 2021, be represented again with a branch in Mühlhausen and work independently for our customers.

Is the certified expert according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 equivalent to a publicly appointed and sworn expert?

A decision by the Hechingen District Court states that certification based on the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 standard represents a proof of competence that is comparable to a public appointment and is to be equated with it (Hechingen Regional Court, decision of July 19, 2017, Az. 1 OH 19/15). The Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court had already made a corresponding decision in 2012 (judgment of December 4th, 2012, Az. I-23 U 181/11).
